 AFTU ANNUAL CARMANS RIVER SPRING CLEAN-UP...  

  Each year as the opening of another New York Trout fishing season approaches, the Chapter coordinates & hosts a Clean-up of heavily visited sections of the Carmans River in and outside of Southaven County Park in the Town of Brookhaven, NY.  Below are a few images from past Clean-up events... *2016 AFTU ANNUAL CARMANS RIVER SPRING CLEAN-UP...
  In 2016, Spring roared in with one last ice & snow storm before settling in with more traditional Spring weather,  just in time, 
for the Chapter's annual Carmans River Clean-up & BBQ on March 26th.  The Clean-up saw many energetic volunteers collect 
a substantial amount of river trash... 
THANKS TO ALL THE VOLUNTEERS WHO HELPED MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Newsflash

 IN MEMORIAM…

    It is with sadness to report the recent passing of AFTU member Joe Brescia on November 30th 2017. We will miss Joe’s smile & enthusiasm at Saturday morning fly tying sessions, and his laughter on the annual West Branch trip. Our condolences to his family & friends.
