Our Chapter hosts regular fly tying sessions for anyone interested in learning how to tie their own flies or wishing to enrich or share their fly tying experience.

The group meets the first three Saturday's of each month from 9:30 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. noon at the Patchogue-Medford Public Library during the late fall and winter months ( see schedule of planned dates for 2017/2018 listed below ).  Also, on an impromptu basis the group frequents the local coffee house, The Roast, across from the Library on Main Street after a morning's tying session for some fresh locally roasted & brewed coffee, and where more tall fish tales grow before all venture off for the balance of the day's chore list...

It doesn't matter if you are a beginner, novice or professional, everyone is welcome to join in on both the knowledge exchange, and the fun of hand crafting one's own flies to catch... <"(((((><.   <"(((((><   <"(((((><

Our members will happily share fly tying materials needed for the weekly lesson, and will share equipment with those new to the craft if needed. So, come join the group one Saturday morning, and try your hands at crafting a few of your own Trout flies to use on your next angling adventure.

PS.  Our crew can tie all matter of flies!  Just ask!!
