In the recent past, a number of readers have expressed an interest in learning more about Chuck Neuner's bamboo rod crafting.  For those fortunate to own or have won a raffle rod, they now know the inherent joys of fly fishing in the tradition of split-cane bamboo, and the magic of Chuck's artistry & attention to detail in his rod crafting.  We are pleased to attach an up-to-date rod catalog sheet for your perusal... perhaps you too will seek out the joys of the lovely reed to fish.

For more insight into the rod maker, Read Long Island Trout Unlimited Chapter's past interview with Chuck Neuner, also beneficiaries of Chuck Neuner's generosity in the support of Long Island's cold water fisheries Conservation efforts.

For those Collectors/Fisherman who seek a rod w/o the wait of a commissioned rod, from time to time Mr. Neuner's rods appear on Len Codella's "Sporting  Collectibles" site.

It is with sadness to report the recent passing of AFTU member Joe Brescia on November 30th 2017. We will miss Joe’s smile & enthusiasm at Saturday morning fly tying sessions, and his laughter on the annual West Branch trip. Our condolences to his family & friends. For those wishing to add a few words of comfort an “obit tree page” has been set-up in his memory… >>>Joseph A. Brescia<<<
